It’s super easy to get XBMC started on your Mac computer, and the whole process takes less than 5 minutes. Some would say that it’s easier to install XBMC to your Mac than it would be to install Microsoft Office. Follow the simple guide below carefully and you’ll be up and running in no time.
HOW TO INSTALL XBMC FOR MAC
Step 1: Download the XBMC software package. Make sure you choose the right version depending on whether you’re running OSX or OSXPPC, newer computers are always OSX.
Step 2: Double Click the downloaded file in order to extract the Disk Image.
Step 3: You’ll now see what looks like a Disk Drive on your Desktop. Open the Extracted Disk Image for XBMC.
Step 4: You’ll now want to Drag and Drop the XBMC logo in the window to the Applications folder which is also located in the window for easy installation.
Step 5: You’ll now want to Right Click on the Disk Drive for XBMC located on your Desktop (as shown in Step 3) and choose to Eject “XBMC”.
Congratulations! You’ve now Installed XBMC for Mac and can use it by opening the XBMC software located in your Applications folder. At this point, you’ll probably want to go ahead and configure the Fusion Easy Addon Installer for XBMC.
