Changing Skins in XBMC

Tired of the same old Confluence skin look? If you’re looking to shake things up and change the appearance of your XBMC setup, what better way to do so than to Change your Skin to something different? We’ll explain how to do it in a few simple steps.

CHANGING SKINS IN XBMC

Step 1: Navigate to the “Settings” menu under “SYSTEM” in XBMC.

Step 2: Select the “Appearance” tab on the left side bar.

Step 3: Under the “Skin” field on the right side of the window, select the name of your current skin. It should display “Confluence” by default.

Step 4: Select the name of the skin which you wish to use, we’ve chosen “Quartz” as an example.

Step 5: You’ll see the change effective immediately, return to the main menu and enjoy.

Congratulations! You’re now able to change you XBMC Skin as you wish. It’s a good idea to stick with the default one though as it seems to be the easiest to use, at the current time at least.
