Bringing XBMC for Android to the Next Level with the Stable Release of the XAF Custom Build, Must Have!

It’s finally here for your viewing pleasure, brining XBMC for Android to a whole new level of next generation entertainment. Several months have gone by since the first release of the XAF Custom Build of XBMC for Android and it’s had quite the success and acclaim so far, despite the fact that it was previously only in testing phases, until now that is! This is the first stable release of this End User Friendly version of XBMC for Android and with over a half of a million users to date, there’s definitely something special about it, you don’t want to miss out on this one!

Most of you should probably already know what XBMC is since you’re on our site, but for those of you who’ve somehow found this page through a referral or search engine link, we figured it might be a good idea to briefly explain what XBMC does and how it works. XBMC is an extremely popular open source media center application that works on multiple platforms. What’s so special about XBMC (besides the hundreds of features to discover) is the fact that through the use of third party addons you can actually interface with online streaming web sites, formatting them into an easy to navigate video on demand type system on screen.

It’s our hope that XBMC for Android will bring XBMC into the future because of the abundance of available hardware devices that run the Android operating system. There are hundreds of mobile phones, tablets, and Apple TV-like set top boxes available on the market at your disposal regardless of what part of the world you call home. Play around with it, it’s not entirely perfect yet but it’s the best release of XBMC for Android that you’ll find, with the most popular addons preconfigured, along with some major customizations to improve usability, along with an external player to ensure the employment of hardware accelerated video decoding on pretty much any Android device.
