You’ve finally got your hands on the Raspberry Pi, but now need to know how to Install XBMC to that sweet little thing. It’s not very difficult, but we’d have to say that the Raspberry Pi isn’t the most simple solution to integrate for end users, although anyone with some technical aptitude shouldn’t have too much trouble using their Raspberry Pi after following our instructions.
INSTALLING RASPBMC TO RASPBERRY PI
- Raspberry Pi
- 4 GB SD Card (FAT formatted)
- Mouse with Wireless USB Adapter
- Raspbmc Installer
Step 1: Download and Extract the Raspbmc Installer for Windows.
Step 2: Plug the SD Card into your computer.
Step 3: Run the “installer.exe” file and agree to any on screen prompts.
Step 4: Choose your SD Card from the list by checking it.
Step 5: Press the “Install” button and wait a few minutes.
Step 6: Once completed, remove the SD Card.
Step 7: Insert the SD Card and then Plug the Raspberry Pi into your television.
Step 8: Follow the on screen prompts to install XBMC to your Raspberry Pi device.
Congratulations! You’ll now be able to Install XBMC to your Raspberry Pi, if you ever manage to acquire one that is. You’ll probably want to Enable Addons at this point. See ya, wouldn’t wanna be ya.
