    Control android tablet with iPhone?

I know this site probably isn't really for this but hey....,

Is there an app for this?
I have my android tablet hooked to my tv and I want to be able to control the tablet from across the room on my iPhone. Similar to airmouse but airmouse server is only for pc/mac/Linux

There are tons of apps like this just search on google market and find one you like best. A year ago or so I used one can't remember the name but on the tablet it could show a big poster of what was playing. Ideal for a sign outside your movie room to if you have so much space. (I don't) but I managed to cramp a 52" tv with full surround against one wall and a projector filling out one of the side walls out for those nights for special events. The second last wall has windows with a giant chair under it facing the projector wall, and the last one has my beloved sacufecus (sofa) so I can view both walls (tv and projector).

Ups kinda side tracked there but yes there are loads of XBMC android remotes including an official one I think.

Lol got you wrong there mate, by not reading properly. You should be able to do this if you root your android device (not sure it's nessesary because vnc runs on higher ports) and install a vnc server. All you need now on the iPhone is a vnc client.

I figured that was what I needed to do. I installed CBC viewer on my iPhone and in the tablet I installed droid vnc server. Once the server is running on the tablet I can connect on the iPhone. However the problem is that I can see the tablet desktop and everything that happens on the tablet on my iPhone. But I cannot control the tablet with the iPhone. I might look for another vnc app or my iPhone. I'll report back in case others are interested.

You should be able to control it, also some vnc clients can zoom the picture to a better fit.

You know if you are running XBMC on your tablet while it is connected to your television, you can download any generic XBMC remote app from the AppStore and your phone will be controlling your set up.
