Issues with ATV2 running Frodo 12.2 as well - rather than timing out as happened before with long waits for certain playlists to show as was the case previously I've had to hard reboot a number of times (causing a bit of havoc with my ATV then caught in a reboot loop) in order to get out of the Navi-X screen I had hung on - will revert to 3.7.6 and update when it's got this issue resolved
Navi x used to be my goto place, now I just can't use it? I tried reverting back to 3.76 but it seems that it is auto uldating and as the addin is not configurable i can't change this?

What hallened to this plugin?
I'm using windows, Xbmc 12.2, navi x 377
Default view always reverting to thumbs (wont stick to list)
Favourites not recognised (*note)
Crashing on search
I have tried reverting, but its auto updating?
I have tried a clean install on a fresh Xbox and the isse is reproducible on all occasions.
My favourites are NOT recognised as they have been added to new favourites catagorys...
If favourites are NOT catagorised, try are recognised.
To reproduce this, add your favourites to a new folder and after upgrade they won't be recognised :(
It's completely runed my experience,
Is their any fix, any update, or any way to roll back to 3.7.6 and stay there?
It's auto-updating? Are you sure about that?
I've had v3.7.6 since it came out and decided to manually upgrade to the new version a few days ago, so it would appear mine didn't auto-update. It should just be a case of downloading v3.7.6 and reinstalling. For the latest news and updates on Navi-X you'd be better off visiting the official Navi-Xtreme forum. Let us know if you find an answer to your problem and what the fix was.
Yea it's auto updating, I'm assume via super repo or similar?
Anyway it's totally borked for me, I have pinpointed why favourites sent working, any favourites I added to a custom favourite folder, is lost, standard favourites are ok if migrated.
The thumbs thing is really irritating though :( it will not stick to list view, do you not experience this? Can you lock list view to all views in 377?
It's a shame as its been so stable for me for so long, but now, although it works, it's useless to me without decent navigation, my favourites and because of its recent instability :(
Ill check their forums, and ill post any fixes I find.
best thing would to be to temp disable superepo, remove any navi-x from addons/packages, and manually install 3.7.6.
I'm with oso on this one, if you're having difficulties with the latest Navi-X then disable superepo.
I tried it when it was first released but I don't think superepo has anything extra that can't be found on fusion so I uninstalled it from my setup. There are the odd occasions where the newest build of something isn't always the most stable so that's one of the reasons I personally prefer to use the built-in xbmc addon manager opposed to setting up superepo. It's a nice idea to have everything all nicely laid out in categories but you get that in fusion anyway so I don't really see what you gain. Everyone to their own though, it would be boring if we all thought the same!
As for the problem with the view in Navi-X I haven't come across that yet. I'm using XBMC on Win7 and for every xbmc skin I've tried the list view works fine and is set as default. I think I read somewhere that the new version remembers your viewtype for each screen, are you on ATV1/2? I imagine it should be an easy fix to set the default as List View for ATV.
" There are the odd occasions where the newest build of something isn't always the most stable "
such a good point...
Just would like to say thankyou for the update and thankyou for navi x! I almost gave up on this addon because after 6pm it was just to slow and unreliable. Now even in peak times its fast and I love the new history section and I can access my video add-ons without leaving navi X. Seriously you have done a great job!!
Update is great but it's down right now....stays on pls wait forever due to holiday traffic...!!!
When will Fusion be updated to the latest 3.7.7? The sooner every one gets the update, the more faster Navi-X will become since Navi-X now implements playlist caching, therefore reducing the strain on the server. People browsing the playlists uses resources, but now the server can be freed up a little to work on processor requests.
