OpenElec
I feel so stupid. I had supported crystalbuntu for such a LONG TIME!!! I was solo stupid. This software is fantastic. I recently decided to try to install it on my power house HTPC... I was pleasantly surprised. I have an occasions freeze, and a few things that take a minute to figure out the setup... But a great option.
That said, if you have tried openelec... What do you think?
Openelec on an HTPC, or stick with windows apwith XBMC running on it as well?

No one know more than me how important it is for the wife to feel good about XBMC. THE GOOD THING IS openelec is no different than any other XBMC on the surface, all addons, skins, etc are as expected... But they offer some unique tools built I to their repo, like sabnzbd, a script to pair your ps3 remote with it, etc.
