    3D content H-SBS

Hi, I'm wondering if anybody else has ran into problems streaming the recently added 3D content on icefilms through XBMC onto a 3D television. I am using a PC connected to my television by HDMI. There seems to be a problem aligning the 3D side-by-side. Has anybody hit this problem or had success?

Yeah, I pretty much have to do the same with my television. There is a 3D button on the remote that has six options including SBS to choose from. I've cycled through them all just to be sure, but none of them seemed to work correctly. When I pick SBS the two images are not overlapping correctly. For some strange reason if I put my TV on 3D without selecting side by side I get a 3D image of both left and right screens separately. I have a Samsung 55C7000 if that makes any difference.

Edit: Problem solved. I was using a laptop hooked up to my television in single screen mode. I changed it to 2 screens dragged XBMC over to the second screen (TV) and that solved the problem. I'm guessing my television had a problem with whatever resolution single screen mode displayed on it.

Being a videophile, you do get a tiny bit of side scatter (misaligned picture) no matter what in XBMC even if the pixels are spot on compared to playing the videos directly on the tv or from a 3D bluray, but it's very little and can usually be adjusted in the tv settings if you are able to see it because you do need to see a proper 3D bluray first to see the tiny difference. It's defenatly not enough to ruin the experience but it does have a small impact on your eyes because they are compensating.

I'm having a similar issue on my 3d tv where it seems more than just a little distorted. I'm able to get the 3d image, but the overlap is terrible, and when I use the glasses it is very obvious that something is wrong. Does anybody know how to resolve this? There doesn't seem to be a setting on the tv to adjust how they overlap. Thanks for any help you can provide, and sorry for bringing up this older topic, but it seemed to match well with my issue.
