I get 2 errors as described in my previous post. The first when trying to download metadata container files and the second when trying to open a string using the search function. This only happens if I have metadata enabled and would really like to use it as it's a fantastic feature when working correctly.

Again any help much appreciated.

K 2 problems, first the meta download is timing out.. maybe try again in a couple days

2nd problem is a small bug in metahandlers, I'll have to dig into this one to work it out

Edit - can you try going to Futurama by the A-Z menu, when you are on the show hold down menu button and select Refresh Info, it should regrab and update the metadata, then try to do the search again

Your script error isn't coming from Icefilms, it looks like you have some log uploader addon installed that's kicking in and it's throwing an error when trying to upload it

To get BillionUploads going, try opening the default.py in the Icefilms addon folder, scroll down to line 1031 and remove the # sign at the beginning of the line (this uncomments the line) then retry

So when you are seeing script error on your screen it should also show the name of the addon that threw the error, by your log Icefilms isn't throwing any errors

Hey thanks for the reply.

Ok I've tried for the past 5 days and still no joy on downloading metadata containers on any platform. ATV2, IPAD or PC. It either throws up a 'script failed' straight away or starts to download and times out before completing and throws up the same error again. I tried re-jailbreaking in case I had some rouge add-on messing with it but it's the same with a clean install, except now it won't even download the smaller 2MB March 2012 container which it did before.

It won't seem to let me do a Refresh Info without the 2MB container installed so can't test at the moment.

Is this something to do with the Icefilms storage location of metadata containers?

I have pushed the latest update, after 3 movies tried I see the same message ! No attribute group..? I post the logfile when i am home, maybe i have to put the e default.py (wendel ) back ?
