What's the BEST WAY to get XBMC on your TV?

I am struggling on deciding what I want to use for my primary XBMC device. I have ATV1, ATV2, HTPC, XBOX, ETC. I love playing with all of them for different reasons. What do you think? And why do you think it?

I currently use an HTPC for my main tv in my living room. I guess if I wasn't using it with my ceton cable card tuner I'd go with ATV or an android set top box(very interested in these now!). I find that 720p mp4 files look really good and not sure I need the full 1080p like some die hards do. Just my opinion.

I think once a stable android package is out, atv's are going to take a huge hit. The STBs available now are already dropping prices and have better hardware. Once the Chinese shops get wind of what makes xbmc hum, I expect the perfect STB for $75 out the door

Couldn't agree more. I think we will see some cool development.

Love the ATV2, and use it 99% but the PC is much easier to play with and can store some local content with ease.

If an atv were able to do 1080P and also allow an external storage device it would be pretty hard to beat. hopefully like was mentioned and android device can come out and meet those needs at an affordable price.

^ if Boxee Box was open-source, I think we had such a product for 1.5 year...

Yeah I just don't understand. Both Apple and Boxee came SO CLOSE to getting it right. They walked right up to the line and then turned away =(

I voted for Atv2, I've no interest in storing locally but I am really eager to check out an android set top box. 1080 never really interested me, I don't think the quality is enough to justify the data size of a 1080 stream.
