Yet another new add-on with many great links, and full libraries. This is a great plugin and worth looking into.

go to
Users\<your_user_name>\

then click alt key then go to tools/folder options/view and check "show hidden files and folders"

now you should see appdata

Users\<your_user_name>\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\
This is where you should place AdvancedSettings.xml.

There is no directory there called appdata there is addon_data but this is not where it should go.
And yes you will need to turn hidden files and folders on.
Btw. There is a guide on all this in the IceLibrary folder "How to install patched and modded files".

Users\<your_user_name>\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata

Just drop it in there and you'll be okay.

make sure to enable hidden folders and files.

It seems to be an ongoing problem for some people. It could be a number of things, Server load, issues with router and so on. Some people are having trouble and some not. If you have a router try unplugging it and waiting for 10 seconds and plugin it back in. I haven't tried yet cause Im at work, but will see in a few.

Okay..here is an update for anyone having the problems with buffering on windows 7. I just did a complete shut down and reboot of all computers, unplugged and rebooted routers, I attempted a direct connection to the computer and still buffering.

So no success there for me at least. My next step is to go and reset the routers settings and see what happens. So odd. All in due time. Just venting I guess.
